Truck Driver (1st Shift)

Position Summary

We are searching for a Truck Driver to join the Kenmode team on 1st shift! The Truck Driver is responsible for transferring product/parts between plant locations and as necessary, to deliver parts. The Truck Driver may also assist with shipping, receiving and warehousing department as needed.

• Daily - Haul stock between Algonquin and Elgin Facilities and deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Prepare stock for shipment before loading truck with proper transfers and paperwork.
• Deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Coordinate schedule for truck maintenance as needed.
• Assist with shipping, receiving and warehousing department as needed.
• Keeps work area clean, orderly and safe.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• HS Diploma, equivalent or combination of education and experience
• Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred, Forklift license required and any IDOT requirements.
• Work experience within the manufacturing industry preferred

• Able to drive, manuver and load/unload a large truck.
• Timely and accurate completion of all paperwork and documentation associated with position.
• Must wear required PPE and follow special protocols for Shipping
• Must be able to read, understand, and carry out detailed written and verbal work instructions.
• Demonstrated attention to detail is required.
• Position requires manual dexterity, good hand/eye coordination.
• Some lifting required (up to 50 lbs.).
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with a team.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
