Rapid prototyping at Kenmode enables manufacturers to test the design and functionality of metal stamping parts before investing in full production.
Our team develops prototypes quickly, meeting the highest quality standards for product validation and evaluation of medical devices, new automobile design features proposed for future model years, and other applications.
The first step is to review the client’s design and prints, along with evaluating their material specifications for the finished part. We build a prototype tool and employ simulation software to evaluate how the material and the part will function in the tool. If the simulation reveals weak spots, the tool can be redesigned to improve manufacturability. Throughout the prototype process the client is informed via online conferences where test results can be reviewed to determine if changes are necessary before full production.
