Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Quality Engineer to lead our quality assurance initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Duties

  • Issue and follow up on all internal, customer and supplier corrective actions. Generates reports on the status of all corrective actions.
  • Compiles and submits PPAP's and annual resubmissions of active parts.
  • Provides assistance to workers engaged in measuring, testing, and tabulating data concerning quality and reliability.
  • Maintains current supplier quality certifications and other documentation.
  • Participates in the Internal audit process
  • Reviews nonconforming material status and supplies information to Management.
  • Maintains and updates documentation such as FMEA’s, control plans/check sheets when necessary.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent.

Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in QA in a manufacturing environment.

Strong background in quality systems (ISO/TS 16949/IATF)

Knowledge of ISO 14000 would be a plus.

Strong background to direct Corrective Action and Problem Solving teams.

Strong background in PPAP submissions, MSA, SPC, FMEAs

Proficiency in the APQP process

Assist with the ERP/QMS documentation updates

Assist as needed with External Audits

Strong verbal and written communication dealing with internal and external personnel.

Interpret drawings, use lab gauges, understand GDT, and interface with various personnel to achieve goals.

Proficiency with computer (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ERP, etc.)

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year DOE
